Pilates is a challenging, low impact form of exercise that is beneficial for everybody. The movements we practice build core strength, increase flexibility and improve posture, enabling us to move freely and function better. It doesn’t matter what age, gender or level of fitness you are, Pilates can challenge novices and athletes alike.
Evolution Pilates can help with:
Improving your core strength which supports the spine and can help relieve neck and back pain
Correctly aligning the body and improving posture
Mobilising your joints, helping to reduce stiffness and increase range of movement throughout the body
Rehabilitation from injury, or as a preventative measure to complement other physical activity
Lengthening tight muscles and strengthening underused muscles allowing the body to move more efficiently

Our classes
We offer classes in a friendly, unintimidating environment, limiting numbers to a maximum of 12 people to ensure we can give you personal attention and check the quality of your movements. We incorporate a range of small equipment, including foam rollers, overballs, bands, magic circles, gliders and weights.
The Body Control Pilates method ensures high quality teaching that is both safe and effective.

Antenatal and postnatal pilates
Our sessions promote good posture as your body changes, focussing on muscle strength, and improving your pelvic floor and core stability, whilst aiding relaxation. Antenatal classes are suitable for women at all stages of pregnancy right up to full term.
One to ones and small groups
Evolution Pilates also offer a mobile service, providing one to one or small group tuition in your own home. Give us a call or send us an email if you have any questions.
We offer a FREE TASTER SESSION, so you can try the class out before signing up to a block. Prior to your first session we will ask you to complete a short questionnaire which allows us to learn a little bit more about you and your body. If we need to adapt the lesson plan to suit you, we will.
